Present Day

After spending his youth singing and playing the guitar, Nick began writing songs his senior year of high school. After heading off to college, he started performing his original songs anywhere he could, often outside of dorm halls. After getting reprimanded by the dean of housing for inciting debaucherous activities, he started to venture into a few open mics. Soon after he started to build a small fanbase of students which led him to start his first band and play shows all over the campus of University of South Carolina.

He continued to expand the band and began touring the Southeast for the next 4 years. Starting in small bars, they quickly grew a strong regional fanbase, with the release of the album "Live From the Backyard" gaining over 3 million views on YouTube. 

He honed in his chops as a live entertainer playing over 350 live shows over the next three years, opening for national acts such as Riley Green, playing festivals across the country, and two residencies at Resorts World in Las Vegas.

In 2025 he self-funded and produced his first studio album with his band "John Doe", with help from veteran songwriter and Zac Brown Band collaborator, Levi Lowrey.
